If you’re looking for a company who can lift your sunken concrete, Master Service Companies is here to help. Our concrete experts have warrantied solutions to make all types of concrete repairs.
Our concrete lifting process:
Step 1: Small 5/8-in. holes are drilled through the sunken slab.
Step 2: An injector port is installed in each hole.
Step 3: High-density foam is injected into the port, then it expands and lifts the slab.
Step 4: Once the port is removed, the holes are cleaned and patched with cement.
SIGNS OF CONCRETE SETTLEMENT
Concrete settlement can be detected by these common signs.
CAUSES OF CONCRETE SETTLEMENT
Check out the causes below to see how this happened to your concrete.
SOIL COMPACTION & SETTLING
When a soil’s load-bearing capacity isexceeded, the soil compacts and settles.
As the soil expands and contracts beneath your concrete slab, the slab will sink and heave. This can also cause cracking in one or more parts of the slab.
As water moves through the ground under your concrete slab, it can begin to wash away the supporting soils holding up your concrete. As this soil washout continues, it creates voids and empty space under the slab. Over time, those voids grow and your concrete begins to sink or cave in.
